Accompaniment Programme

Leading with purpose

The Marist Accompaniment programme is based on the values of Presence and In the Way of Mary. It has been running for three years and we are looking forward to our next group participating in the programme this Spring.

Based in Westerhelling, the Accompaniment program provides an opportunity for Marist Educators and laypeople to engage with the Values and gain new skills and friendships with other Marists.

A personal exploration of the art of accompaniment done in the context of a community of seekers.

Program Overview

Marist Leadership Programme

One of our most established projects for our young people is the Marist Leadership programme. Each year, ten senior students participate in the programme where they are involved in Charity projects, Marist initiatives inspired by our values and learning about the Marist heritage.

Student gain leadership training and grow in confidence.

The Marist Education team have worked in conjunction with the Kinharvie Institute over the past eight years to facilitate this training, Irish and Scottish schools have participated in the programme and a highlight for many of our students is having the opportunity to travel to L’Hermitage for an annual pilgrimage during Autumn.
